Barringtons Staff Social Castle Hill RSL

Jin Yan Asian Banquet

A great time was had by all who attended the first Barringtons Social for the year at Jan Yin Asian Restaurant at Castle Hill RSL on March 7.

Drinks in the Sports Lounge followed by a banquet were just the ticket for a year that has had us all 'hit the ground running hard'.

We learned that Tanya and Despina share the same birthday and so from now on should be referred to as 'the twins.'

We also learned that three of us will be grandparents for the first time this year - Blayne in July, Allen in August and Viktoria in October.  Jason was in fine form with the grandparent and aging jokes.

Our Training Coordinator and latest addition Sharah was 'treated' to some lessons on aussie rhyming slang by Dave Napper. (She may never look at Australians the same way again.)

It was great to see all let their hair down (those who still have it).

I understand Kay/Reyna are organising the next social for two months time. Should be interesting.....
