Fair Work Introduces Higher Penalties for Vulnerable Workers

The Fair Work Amendment (Protecting Vulnerable Workers) Act 2017 is now in effect.

The vulnerable workers Bill, which the Senate passed earlier this month, boosts protections for vulnerable workers by prohibiting employers from unreasonably requiring employees to make 'cash-back' payments.
